Historical Lithograph
This lithograph shows the Ossining waterfront as it was around 1880 - 35 years before
OBCC was founded.
Things didn't change so fast in those days and these maps give at least an idea
of what the waterfront was like in 1915.
On the left side of the litho
you will see some boats with sticks in front. Behind those boats are just the sticks in the
water. This is how small boats were moored in those days; tree branches were stuck in the
mud and the boats tied to them. This was a familiar sight until recently at
OBCC.
